Roxborough is a National Archaeological District. Join Roxborough, History Colorado, Dinosaur Ridge, and the Denver Chapter of the Colorado Archaeological Society on Saturday, October 19, for National Archaeology Day. Colorado Department of Natural Resources will be having a fair! This will be a fun and educational event for the entire family. Activities are from 10 a.m – 2 p.m. and include:
- Archaeological displays on the patio;
- Kids activities;
- Hiking and Rox Ride tours of past archaeological sites;
- Poster displays, handouts and PowerPoint presentations;
- Dedication of our new archaeology display in the Visitor Center.
