well-prepared-campIs the summer slipping away from you but you are still wondering what it is like to go camping? Are you curious about how to camp, where you should go camping, how much it costs, and more?

Well it’s never too late to learn to enjoy the outdoors, and the best way to appreciate it is to go camping. Colorado is a beautiful place to go camping and we have many wonderful natural sights to see.

If you are a potential camper but you don’t know where to start, you have come to the right place! Camp Out Colorado is full of reviews of great camping locations. We have articles on important camping tips, tricks and ideas as well as important camping safety and common sense camping advice.

But going to a website is far from the experience of actually camping. We have written a few articles about how to get started with camping and some of the basic things you may want.

If you have read through these and are still interested in camping but do not have anyone to take you or help you out, you are in luck. Colorado State Parks and Wildlife has partnered with The North Face to offer a new program they call, “Let’s Camp!”

This cool new program offered by Colorado State Parks is meant for you. It is a service the Colorado State Parks are offering this summer to help families and other potential outdoor enthusiasts get excited and educated about camping.

For the full details of their program check out the official page for it here: http://www.parks.state.co.us/camping/Pages/LetsCamp.aspx

This program is a very cheap and easy way to introduce potential campers of all ages to the fun and entertainment of camping. The fee for these nights includes your stay, the gear you will be allowed to use, and an experienced camper to help you with your overnight camping.

This is a great opportunity to get out there and enjoy all that Colorado has to offer. The fee they charge for the night covers everything. This way you can give camping a try without the worry or expense of buying or borrowing your own camping gear.

If you are new to camping or have ever thought about learning to camp, this is may be just the opportunity you’ve been looking for!
